The Offering from the December Stated Presbytery meeting will go to The Children's Hunger Project of Brevard County. Today in Brevard County over 50% of students are on the Free or Reduced Lunch Program.

Brevard County Schools provide a free breakfast and lunch during the week. For some students, Friday lunch is their last regular meal until the following Monday. The Children’s Hunger Project provides weekend meals to ensure children are not coming to school hungry. On the front lines of caring for our children during the week, teachers and school administrators are acutely aware of the weekend hunger crisis. When the teachers say their goodbyes on Fridays, they know which pupils will not have enough nutrition over the weekend, and which kids will be ill-prepared to learn on Monday morning.
