Anti-Racism Committee Scholarships

Nine students from This scholarship for students of color is made possible through a gift given to the Central Florida Presbytery's Anti-Racism Committee from a portion of the proceeds received from the sale of the St. Marks Presbyterian Church, a congregation of faithful members committed to the work and witness of God's love and justice for all people. Through this scholarship fund, the mission, witness and legacy of St. Marks Presbyterian Church lives on to the glory of God. Click here to read the full article.

As citizens of the United States who make our home in the state of Florida and leaders in the part of the faith community here that belongs to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we, members of the presbytery’s Anti-Racism Committee, are deeply troubled by the provisions of legislation that becomes law Jul 1, 2023 regarding immigration. 

This law will negatively impact the Florida economy both for citizens of Florida and for immigrants. It also has direct negative impact on religious freedom in Florida...(click on the button above to read the complete statement)
