January 6 is Epiphany, also called Three Kings Day. Recall the gifts the wise men brought to Jesus as your family creates a sweet-smelling reminder of the ways Christ blesses all who enter your home.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
from apples4theteacher.com
Martin Luther King, Jr. fought for equal civil rights for African Americans. Each year, on the 3rd Monday of January, we celebrate his life and his dream. Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a minister who led peaceful demonstrations in regard to unfair treatment of African Americans.
