Interim Executive Presbyter Search Update - August 2023

The EP Search Team has received resumes (PDPs or PIFs) from 17 potential candidates. Many of the PDPs were matches by the Church Leadership Connection System, and about ⅓ were self-referrals. We evaluate each PDP and decide as a team whether to move forward, hold for further consideration, or reject because it does not align with our PDP.
We are currently holding Zoom interviews with the top candidates as part of a mutual discernment process. The next step will be to rank candidates, conduct local in-person interviews, perform reference checks, finalize our selection, and negotiate terms of call. Our goal is to present a contract and terms of call to Council by August 31 so that we can introduce our Interim Executive Presbyter at the September Presbytery Meeting.
We ask you to continue praying that the Holy Spirit will guide us in our search, and will confirm the person God is already preparing to be our Interim Executive Presbyter.
