A Message from the Stated Clerk NOVEMBER 2023

As the season has changed from summer to fall, I find myself in a transition as I transition into the role of Stated Clerk. One of the hardest parts of the transition is going from 32 to 10 hours a week. The best way to get hold of me is my email, cgreenawalt@cfpresbytery.org If I am not able to get back to you feel free to follow up to make sure your email did not hit my spam folder.
As I transition I am working on setting up a process for Sessional Records Review that will work for most if not all of us and give us ways to connect, share some best practices and find support and connection within our presbytery.
If you are a newer clerk (or your church has a new clerk) and you are not sure if the presbytery has your correct contact information please email Kenne Sparks (ksparks@cfpresbytery.org) with your Name, church and email address.
In December, the presbytery will send out information regarding the Annual Statistical Report. Mark your calendar for February 10, 2024 for COLE. I will lead a clerk’s training. Below you will find an opportunity for your and your elders to grow in their leadership and polity skills.
As we journey towards Thanksgiving let me take just a moment to say thank you for all the ways you help to lead your churches and to keep things running smoothly and in a way that uses our polity while leaving space for the Holy Spirit to blow in and guide your worshiping community.
