WELCOME MEREDITH HAMPTON
NEW YOUTH AND COLLEGIATE MINISTRIES COORDINATOR
A native of Florida, Meredith grew up in Tallahassee and graduated from the Florida State University. During her time as a student she was a resident at the Presbyterian University Center (now UKirk Tallahassee) and attended First Presbyterian Church (Tallahassee) where she served as both an elder and a Middle School Youth Advisor. In 2009, Meredith relocated to Central Florida to pursue K-12 teaching and taught for Seminole County Public Schools for several years. Additionally, she met her husband, Brett. Together, they joined Park Lake Presbyterian Church in Orlando and answered the call to volunteer with the high school youth group. In 2017, they welcomed their son, Tucker. They share their East Orlando home with our two Great Pyrenees dogs, Achilles and Athena and enjoy being outdoors – especially if the outing includes kayaking or going to the beach. Meredith says she is looking forward to working with the youth and young adults in our Presbytery to help them find places of Christ-centered community and discover the many ways God is working in their young lives.
