Rockledge Presbyterian Church’s Mission Committee unites with The Children’s Hunger Project to provide food for thirty school-identified students at Rockledge High
School who are in serious food need due to family circumstances. How do we do this?
We provide an annual amount of money, last year $5700, to pay for the food purchased by The Children’s Hunger Project for 42 weeks. RPC members pick up the food for several months at a time, bring it to RPC and organize a packing
event. At the January packing session 35 volunteers packed 540 meals. We plan to
begin another school year for 2025-2026 with food for these students.
