LETTER FROM THE PHILADELPHIA BRAZILIAN CHURCH
From Pastor Helio Pacheco
Hello brothers and sisters from the presbytery,
I would like to thank all of you for your support and confidence in the work we do at Philadelphia Church. I would like to also extend my gratitude to Pastor Danny of Kissimmee First Presbyterian Church for supporting us. The year of 2021 was still a challenging year with all the challenges caused by Covid19, but the Lord God kept us here and gave us conditions to continue working with the church.
We had five meetings of family and friends which we called - "Dinner with Friends", and it was very gratifying to be able to receive people to have dinner together, talk, and share the Word of God. We received three new families that have been attending our church since September, a total of 10 people, which gave us encouragement, and we believe it was an answer to our prayers. On Sunday, November 21st, we had our Thanksgiving service, and we had a total of 35 people among children, teenagers, youth and adults. God is good all the time, so we must give thanks to the Lord for His benefits in our lives .I pray the Lord will keep you and your families in good health.
We need the support of the eldership in action and support for the coming year 2022, as well as the First Presbyterian Church of Kissimmee. Attached are some pictures of the activities that our Philadelphia congregation carried out in 2021. May God continue to bless you all along with your families on this day, and through the end of 2021.
In the love of our beloved Jesus Christ Jesus,
