Interim Executive Presbyter Search Update

The EP Search Team created our Mission Discernment Profile (MDP) for the position of Interim EP, and the form was approved by the Presbytery Council. Our posting is now “live” in the Church Leadership Connection (CLC) system. We are very encouraged by the quick response to our posting; in the first week alone we received 9 Personal Discernment Profiles (PDPs) from CLC system matches and from self-referrals and more are arriving.
Each PDP is carefully evaluated by the team to determine whether to move forward, hold for future consideration, or reject because it does not align with our MDP. As we move forward, we will contact individual candidates to open a dialog of mutual discernment, conduct formal interviews, and eventually invite final candidates to an on-site interview and visit.
We ask you to continue praying for our discernment of God’s guidance as we search in the belief that we are looking for that person God is already preparing to be our Interim Executive Presbyter.
