HURRICANE CLEANUP INFO FROM PDA
A Home Cleanup Hotline has been opened to support survivors of Ian. The call center will open through October 28, 2022. Anyone needing assistance with storm cleanup at their residence can call 800-451-1954. ALL SERVICES ARE FREE.
This number helps volunteer response groups know where they are needed most. Volunteer work crews from Church, community, school, organized disaster relief teams and other organizations will be on the ground in Florida assisting after the storm. These groups utilize the information from the Crisis Cleanup Hotline to organize their efforts and bring relief to Florida. Work orders are generated for:
- Fallen trees
- Drywall, flooring, and appliance removal to curb
- Tarping Roofs
- Debris removal to curb
Crisis Cleanup is a collaborative disaster work order management platform. Volunteers from around the country donate time to answer calls from survivors and catalog work orders. With the collaboration of over 1,800 volunteer organizations, the Crisis Cleanup Hotline has helped more than 80,900 homes and businesses find the helping hands needed to get on the path to recovery. The hotline has been vital in cleanup efforts after many hurricanes, including Laura, Sally, Irma, Matthew, Andrew, Sandy, etc.
First Responders needing assistance with cleanup at their residence can call 800-451-1954. Please identify yourself as a first responder when giving your information to the hotline.
