Greetings from the Moderator                                                    NOVEMBER 2024

Dear Christians,
 
We all just celebrated All Saint’s Day and All Saint’s Sunday. This year I took a little more time and reflected on the hundreds of millions of saints that have gone before us to the Church Triumphant. 
 
These saints, starting with the very first ones, were Christ’s foundation of the Church Universal. I am truly thankful for these people who heard, changed their lives, and acted as God would have us act. I fast forward and realize how thankful I am for the Reformers and the continual Reformers who keep hearing the Holy Spirit and keep the Church Universal alive and demonstrating the Kingdom of Salvation of Humankind to the world. 
 
I then reflected on individuals in the lives of congregations that helped move along the Good News to more and more generations to their communities.
 
For all these people I am truly thankful. 
 
We can also celebrate the ordination of Reverend Carmen Torres last month. Next month at Presbytery we will install Commissioned Pastor Nichole Gower as Moderator. My good people, I can tell you, having met and worked with her, Central Florida Presbytery is trading up from your current Moderator.
 
I ask the Lord’s blessings to be on each of you and on your work spreading the Good News of the Kingdom.
