Cuban Church Leaders to Visit Central Florida
by Janira Colon, Cuba Partnership Network

It is with great joy, gratitude, and love that we inform you of the upcoming visit of three of our beloved Cuban brothers and sisters to our Presbytery. Ruling Elders Maykel Claro and Yaquelin Castillo, along with Co-Pastor Jorge Feliz Rey from the church in Camajuaní, will be in our area beginning June 30, 2025 and until July 7, 2025.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our sister church in Baltimore, the visitor visa process has been successfully completed, and our Cuban brothers and sisters have been approved for an official religious visit to the presbyteries with established partnerships with the Central Presbytery of Cuba.

In light of this, we would like to extend the opportunity to all congregations in the Central Florida Presbytery to invite our guests to your communities. We believe this will be a beautiful time of fellowship, learning, and deepening our bonds of mutual love and support.

In order to prepare a comprehensive schedule that includes accommodations and visit planning, we kindly ask each church to indicate their availability, preferred dates, and times when they would like to host our Cuban brothers and sisters. Please keep in mind that Mykel is a fluent English speaker. Therefore, your church doesn’t need a translator.

We are confident that this visit will be a great blessing for all involved, and we sincerely appreciate your prompt response to this request at your earliest convenience.

With gratitude and in Christ’s love,
Ken Lasseter
