CUBA PARTNERSHIP NETWORK PLANS FOOD SHIPMENT
The situation in Cuba is desperate and growing more so. Food is in extremely short supply, the government can’t provide even the basic rations of staples, and the cost of what little food is available continues to rise way beyond wages. We are asking individuals and churches in Central Florida to prayerfully consider sponsoring all or part of a food shipment.
Some of our CFP churches have sent food shipments to partner churches via Supermarket23, an online vendor in Miami who gets the shipments to the Cuban churches within about 4 days. We want to send a standardized shipment to each of the 12 churches in El Centro in October, and expect the cost to be around $200 for each shipment.
Your generous donations meet a very real need and are a tangible expression of Christ’s love to our brothers and sisters in Cuba. Please watch for more information in the September newsletter. Thank you for your continued support of our partnership with El Centro Presbytery!
